About Carac®

Treatment with Carac®

You will notice skin irritation as you use Carac®. This is to be expected. It shows that Carac® is attacking the AK lesions in your skin. This part of treatment can be tough for some patients. Make sure you follow your doctor's instructions and complete your Carac® treatment for up to 4 weeks as tolerated. This will help you get the best results.

The irritation should generally fade away within 2 weeks after stopping treatment. This is the best part of treatment: many patients notice that their skin looks healthier,* by helping to clear your AK lesions, than before treatment!

Don't stop Carac® early unless you check with your doctor first.

As always, it is best to speak with your doctor about any concerns you may have and work together to treat your AK lesions.

* Based on the reduction of AK lesions
